Blue Monday is a blue-veined cow's milk cheese, produced in Scotland, close to Inverness, by Rory John  for Juliette Harbut and the Blur bassist Alex James. The artist named the cheese in reference to New Order's hit record of 1982. Blue Monday is a  ivory white cheese streaked with blue, purple veins. The taste is creamier and milder than a usual blue-veined cheese.
